Below are ideas I have accumulated over the years which may be helpful for your family.

Children learn through play and I have found playing feeling games and participating in various feeling activities are just a few ways we can increase our child's ability to identify and express their feelings. The goal is to help create a safe environment where children feel comfortable sharing their feelings, no matter how big or uncomfortable, with their parents and caregivers. One of the first steps to helping a child manage their feelings and emotional dysregulation is helping them be able to verbalize them in a healthy manner.
Helpful Tip: Get creative in thinking of different ways to incorporate talking about feelings in daily life and your child's routine. And sometimes it will take multiple times doing an activity before the child responds to it. I always encourage families to "research" what works for them by trying different activities.
You can find a plethora of feeling activities by simply searching on Google or Pinterest.
